"The
day is not far when the prints and reproductions of
astounding works of Indian artists will be displayed.
Our intention is to achieve the same," says K. Sridhar,
Managing Director, ARTEMPLE Fine Art Gallery.
The Artemple plans to display imaginative work of dynamic
composition, powerful expression and vibrant colours.
Located at Habsiguda in Hyderabad, Artemple is the
branch of Artemple Museum Gallery, Mumbai, a renowned
art gallery and franchisee
of Museum Classics, U.S.A. The Hyderabad branch was
set up just a month ago. Since then, it has been drawing
art connoisseurs by displaying the prints and reproductions
of paintings at an affordable price. It is delightful
indeed to view the work of some of the world's renowned
artists (even if they are reproductions) like Hessam
and the "young Picasso", Alexander Nechita.
Most
of the works on display are prints and reproductions
of exclusive paintings. Yet it is hard to distinguish
them from the original masterpiece. This is the successful
principle followed by Artemple and Museum Classics to
fulfill the need of art lovers to own some familiar
paintings at a low price.
According to Sridhar: "Our mission is that art of
very high quality should be affordable to all."
