  LAKSHANA'S LATEST SHOW
Since its launch in the city, the Lakshana Art Gallery has been the hub of activity. Almost every month, the gallery holds solo and group exhibitions. As a part of its plans to promote young talent in the city, the gallery has organised an art exhibition called Re-fractions. The exhibition features the works of 12 young artists. The participating artists include Bhaskar, Hamid, Mallesh, Manohar, Mrityunjay, Narendra, Pushpavati, Rajendra, Sagith, Sanjeev, Srinath and Venkatesh. Rohini Iyengar is the curator of the show.

The show that began on 23rd November will continue uptil 2nd December. The gallery will be open on all Sundays for the duration of the show.

JAPANESE DOLLS ON DISPLAY
A Japanese DollAfter continuous exhibitions of different crafts, clothes, roses and all, for Hyderabadis, it is the time to glance at Japanese dolls. The International Dolls Museum, New Delhi is all set to display an exclusive range of Japanese dolls at the B.M. Birla Science Centre to be held from January 23 to 31 in connection with the 'Japan Week' celebrations.

Hyderabad is the only city in the South to be fortunate to host an exhibition of expensive and exquisite dolls belonging to the Japan Foundation, New Delhi. Apart from the exhibition, some competitions like essay writing, drawing and photography are also being held on the occasion. The exhibition will be organised by Asa Bhanu Japan Centre, Consulate General of Japan, Chennai and B.M. Birla Science Centre.
