sister concern of Orient Longman, 'The Bookpoint'
has established a special place in the hearts
of Hyderabadis with its huge collection of books.
A one-stop shop for books, 'The Bookpoint' is
organising a millennium book sale whereby it is
offering a discount of 15-60 per cent on
books published by Orient Longman and
Oxford University Press.
The bookstore, located in Hyderguda,
often conducts discount sales on books of various
publishing houses. Last November they had an exhibition-cum-sale
of Oxford and Rupa and in the coming
March they plan a sale of Cambridge University
Press and Penguin Publications. The
discount sale has books on history, literature,
music and philosophy. Keeping in mind children's
reading habits, it is also displaying books, which
include story books and books on drawing and sketching.
'The Bookpoint', which was started in 1985, has
its branches in Chennai, Bangalore and
Mumbai and plans to open two more branches
in Delhi and Kolkata. The exhibition
will be open for public till 11th of February.
