scanners CanoScan FB330P and FB630P.
With dimensions 256mmX372mmX39mm and weighing
approximately 1.5kg, the CanoScan looks like a
notebook computer and can be carried along with
it.
Canon's LED Indirect Exposure (LIDE) technology
produces sharp, high-quality images from photographs
and other graphic originals. The new CanoScan FB
series scanners feature 36-bit input gradations
found on your original, and include Canon's ColorGear
colour matching system for optimum results.
In addition to this, the special ImageTrust
function increases the readability of images scanned
for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) purposes.
Maximum optical resolutions are 600X1200 dpi with
the CanoScan FB630P and 300X600dpi with the CanoScan
FB330P.
Canon brings these scanners with user-friendly options.
You can just plug the scanner directly into your
computer's standard parallel port, or even set up
as a middle link in the connection from your PC
to printer. Then use the CanoScan Setup Utility,
an interactive guide which makes the process of
installing the bundled software into your computer
both quick and hassle-free. And, once you begin
scanning, you will also be surprised to see the
scanner's incredibly silent operation. Run on Windows
95/98 and NT 4.0 and compatible with
TWAIN the CanoScan range is priced Rs. 5,800
onwards.
