The Wesley Boys' Degree College is
affiliated to the Osmania University. Though the
college was established in 1984, its antecedents can be
traced to the year 1879, when English  missionaries
of the Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society, London,
established many schools in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
One of them, The Middle School acquired recognition
from the Government in 1905. Over the next 80 years, this
institution blossomed into the Wesley Degree College.
Today the Wesley College continues to offer quality
education in Science, Arts, Languages and Social Sciences.
Besides, its Master in Computer Applications (MCA) and
Master in Business Administration (MBA) programmes are
recognised by the All India Council of Technical Education
(AICTE).
Academics apart, the college regularly organises inter-college
competitions and educational tours.
