The Supreme Court's ban on the exhibition of animals
in the circus has not dampened the spirit of the Circus
people. The Great Rayman Circus, one of the oldest
circus in India, continues to enthrall the denizens
of the city with their exciting and entertaining feats.
Though the absence of roaring lions and tigers is felt,
but the swinging girls and the hilarious stage performances
from the jokers keep you hooked to the circus. Rayman
Circus which was started in 1925 at Ratlam in
Madhya Pradesh is back in the city after a gap of 13
years. The main attractions of the Circus are boneless
act, ring dance, magic show and rope dance. Apart from
these riders, dancers, animals (except the banned animals)
all provide the entertainment with their daring feats
and awesome performances.
