FILM BY RAMOJI RAO |
After
churning out two box office hits, Chitram and
Nuvve Kaavali in Tollywood (Telugu Film
Industry) in a row, Ramoji Rao, Chairman of
Eenadu Groupstraightaway takes his successful Usha
Kiron movies banner onto the Hollywood platform. Under
his new Usha Kiron movies-International, Ramoji Rao is
producing a Hollywood film, 'Quick Sound' in collaboration
with action filmmaker, Shyam Fustenburgh. The film
has already started taking shape in Ramoji Film City with
a complete team of American actors and full of
Hollywood essence, probably the first Indian produced
Hollywood film to undergo shooting in India.
The
shooting process of 'Quick Sound' started on March 8 and
Ramoji Rao clapped the first shot. "The shooting will
be finished in a single schedule of 30 days. After the
shooting, the post-production works also will be done
for three weeks in the Film City itself," said P Ramesh,
Executive producer. "We are planning to release the
film in the year-end all over the world and for its distribution,
we have signed an agreement with 'Quantum Entertainment'
company," Ramesh said.
"Even
though the film was shot in Ramoji Film City, we are very
careful to keep up our own Hollywood nativity,"
said Fustenburgh, director of Quick Sound. "I have
never seen this type of Film City anywhere in the world.
It has got all the facilities, where a filmmaker or director
from any corner of the world can successfully finish his
complete project under this fantastic single roof,"
he added. Quick Sound is a romantic action thriller story
based on American Military. Hollywood's renowned actor
Michael Dudicoff and actress Brook Thiese are
portraying the main roles. One can remember the yesteryear's
box office movie, 'American Ninja' in the combination
of Fustenburgh and Dudicoff. Through 'Quick Sound', the
successful duo is pairing up again to recreate the magic
on the screen after a span of 15 years. "Mine is an
emotional role in this film and I'm enjoying doing this,"
said the hero of the film, Michael Dudicoff.
The
highlight from the Indian part is that our own Bollywood
cameraman, Sameer Reddy is the Director of Photography
for 'Quick Sound'. "I will do the best to present the
film with the special effects that are in no way inferior
to Hollywood photography. I hope my experience as the
second cameraman for the Hollywood film, Crocodile will
help me meet this challenge," said Sameer Reddy.
The film, Quick Sound has added a memorable chapter in
the history of Indian Cinema and its role in World Cinema.
