the land of endless fun, excitement and entertainment
transports you into the glorious past! One moment you’re
walking down a lane of the Mauryan empire and the next,
you find yourself transported into a rugged town of the
American Wild West. Or, if you so please, experience
the royal ambience of the Mughal era! Each theme area
has something new to offer. For instance, the mouthwatering
cuisine at ornately decorated restaurants –Alampana,
Chanakya and Gunsmoke. And if you think you’ve
seen it all, just take a closer look. There is pulsating
entertainment and cultural shows  that
add to the fun and gaiety of the atmosphere! What’s more,
the unique Ramoji Film City souvenirs available
at Magadha, Meena Bazaar, Frontierland or Black
Cat Warehouse, the exclusive outlets, would be a treasure
to possess and a pleasure to gift.
As you enter into Eureka- an artificial world moves in
front of your eyes. When you stand at the entrance, the
front portion symbolises the Chanakyan era with a huge
statue of Yaksha standing right in the middle.
On the left side you will find the structures representing
the Mughal period. The reddish walls and dome shaped edifices
provide a  glimpse
of the erstwhile Mughal era. But the one, which really
catches your attention is the Wild West "As the
name indicates, Wild West is a replica of wild western
regions of America," says Mr Shaik,
an executive who takes care of Eureka. As you walk
inside, you will notice that the western ambience is perfectly
created in Wild West. The wooden houses and the horses
which are considered as the part of western lifestyle
are all found here. As you stroll down the streets of
Eureka , you can also do a bit of shopping. "The
products that are available in these shops are all brand
products of Ramoji Film city and you can buy gift items
to the jewellery items in the exclusive outlets of Eureka",
says Mr Shaik pointing out at the shops that are lined
along the pathways.
 The
Wild West houses an amphitheatre, where a live stunt show
is enacted to entertain the tourists. The stunt show has
a story line where a happy couple are suddenly attacked
by the countryside bandits attired in a cap and jeans
-ala the cowboy type which you see in the Hollywood movies.
The show is studded with real gunshots and the mock bomb
explosions. The show captivates the people as it has all
the ingredients of a hit show. The show is performed every
half an hour in the Wild West amphitheatre which has a
comfortable seating arrangements for people to enjoy the
 show.
The other amphitheatre named as Planet RFC is being
constructed near the Alampana restaurant and will be opened
very shortly. "With a seating capacity of 1200,
the amphitheatre will be utilised for staging dramas and
other related activities. It can also be used for holding
corporate parties," said Mr Shaik.
And after an exhaustive sightseeing session, if you feel
hungry, Don't worry! Eureka has provisions in the form
of three restaurants  Chanakya,
Alampana, and Gunsmoke to cool your ravenous stomachs.
The three restaurants provide you with a different cuisine.
Chanakya is a vegetarian restaurant , Gunsmoke is a fast
food centre and Alampana is a Mughlai restaurant. Alampana
has an impressive menu which includes Murgh zaffrani
kebab, Gosht do pyasa- lamb cooked in rich tomato
onion gravy, Fish Amritsari, Dum aloo zafrani, and
juices like Anarkali- mango juice, Bahar-e-chaman-
pine apple juice, and desserts like Zauq-e-shahi and
Rasmalai. |
