for the cricket themed 'Outswinger' pub at Hotel
Basera, it has been a series of highs all the way.
From the time the 'Outswinger' started bowling it has
remained a popular watering hole for the thirsty souls.
Adorned with cricket memorabilia and pictures of top players
like Gavaskar, Kapil, Pataudi, Bradman and several
other stalwarts, the pub has added two cricket goods to
the glittering list. Among them are the wicket keeper
Rodney Marsh, till recently the world record holder
for the largest number of dismissals behind the stumps.
The Aussie being a consultant for the National Cricket
Academy is presently at Bangalore helping the Indian
team to gear up for the forthcoming overseas tours.
A cricket bat autographed by the teams of India, Australia
and Pakistan has also been put up inside the
pub. And to attract the customer, the plush pub has started
'Outback' an Australian lifestyle theme in association
with Foster's. Australian 'Outback' will continue for
ten days till May 27. Boomerangs, wildlife and the surfing
sea ambience is created as part of the Australian 'Outback'.
