There
is no dearth of restaurants in the city. Numerous restaurants
dot the entire stretch of the city from Bollaram to
Shadnagar and from Hayathnagar to Kukatpally. Delicious
food, right ambience are the hallmarks of these restaurants.
Chinese, Mughlai, Andhra- name any cuisine, you are
bound to find in these restaurants.
One
such restaurant which is offering delectable cuisine
in the delightful ambience is 'Tripura' located
in bustling Kukatpally area which is growing by leaps
and bounds. The restaurant, which was opened in January
this year has already found a favourite place among
the food lovers who throng the restaurant during the
lunch and dinner hours. A long spacious hall, well furnished
tables, good lighting -all add up to present a perfect
ambience for the customer to enjoy the meal. The paintings
adorning the walls add an extra glamour to the room.
The
menu of the restaurant which is diverse and rich offers
lot of variety for the food connoisseur, both vegetarian
as well as non-vegetarian. The experienced servers of
the restaurant who are well dressed and affable help
in sorting out the menu. For the vegetarians, there
is Tripura special veg curry, veg Jaipuri, baby corn
masala, mushroom masala, kadai vegetable and malai kofta.
For the non-vegetarians, the restaurant has Tripura
chicken curry, chicken Mughlai, chicken Chettinad, and
pride of Hyderabad 'biryani'. Biryani
of Tripura is certainly delicious but not as delicious
as the biryani of other restaurants in the city like
Bahar and Niagara. The biryani of Tripura
retains the aroma of basmati rice but due to presence
of less oil, the real taste of Hyderabadi biryani is
lost. If not biryani one can try other traditional Andhra
delicacies like veta mausam fry and veta mausam masala
which are tasty and delicious. Apart from these, there
are plenty of snacks like chicken snacks, sea food snacks,
Chinese soups like chicken corn soup, veg corn soup,
chicken spring rolls, noodles, raitha and salads.
Tripura
restaurant, named after Hindu goddess 'Bala Tripura
Sundari' is the brainchild of Mr Harish, who
runs a footwear shop known as Paduka Foot World in Kukatpally.
But after seeing the demand for a family restaurant
in the area he decided to start one. "My intention
in starting this 150 people capacity restaurant is to
provide an ideal place where an entire family can sit
and enjoy the dine," said Harish about the
opening of a restaurant in Kukatpally. "After
seeing the response to Tripura restaurant, I am planning
to start a new restaurant in the Pawani plaza complex
at Ameerpet," said Haish disclosing his future
plans.
