Mullapudi Cardiac Centre is highly advanced, non-profit

the brainchild of two NRI Doctors from USA, Dr. Ratnam
V. Mullapudi and Dr. Nalini Mullapudi. They have lived
and worked in United States from 1964 to 1994 and have
built this hospital with their savings to serve the needy
in India and named it after their beloved daughter Usha,
who died at the young age of 18 years in a train accident.
The hospital has cutting edge technology, expertise, and
leading edge tools and techniques in Cardiology and Cardio
thoracic surgery. Centrally air-conditioned, the UMCC
has fully automated 24-hour lab service with experienced
technicians and LAN facility to enable report collection
at the OP level itself, for faster, smoother, accurate
results/service. In addition to tests connected with cardiology,
routine test, general health check-up along with thyroid
hormones and homocysteine are also conducted. All Biochemistry
tests are done on DADE (USA)/IMX ABBOTT automated analyser.
Even routine tests like CBP are done on coulters using
the vacutainer system. UMCC pharmacy is the first pharmacy
in AP run by M.Pharma and B.Pharma personnel. There is
a constant interaction with Doctors as well as patients
on drug-drug interaction, drug-food interaction, and drug-lab
interaction.
