the Hyderabad based PR Filters (P) Limited is one
of the leading manufacturers and marketers of all types
of air filters. Mr. K.R. Rao is the Managing Director

The product range of the company includes various types
of Air, Oil, Hydraulic filter elements of paper and mesh
type for Heavy Earth Moving equipment such as Dumpers,
Dozers, Pay Loaders, Forklifts, Cranes. PR Filters
also produces Simplex and Duplex Filter Assemblies
with paper and washable type elements for Air, Coolant
Oil and Industrial Water Applications. It also manufactures
Moisture and Oil separators for On-line Compressed
Air Applications with manual or auto drains to remove
the contamination.
 The
speciality of the PR Filters is that they can be used
as import substitues for Hydac, Pall, EPE, Mahale,
Mann and Parker machinery. These filters are made
of imported Fibre Glass Paper, re-inforced with metallic
mesh to withstand the pressure in hydraulic system. The
company also provides complete range of Panel type Air
Filters for Air Handling Units, Ventilation, Pressurising
Rooms, Research Laboratories and other Process Industries.
 With
the production capacity of 50-60 thousands per annum the
turnover of the company in 2000-01 was Rs. 50 lakhs. The
company caters to the needs of the many prestigious public
and private limted companies like BHEL, MIDHANI, BDL,
DRDL, ITC.
