ALEAP
- WHERE WOMEN ACHIEVERS COME TOGETHER
Association
of Lady Entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh (ALEAP)
was constituted in December 1993 to bring together women
entrepreneurs to face the challenges posed by the entrepreneurial
world and motivate women to start an enterprise or manufacturing
activity. ALEAP tries to always be with the women as
a guide, "to hold their hand and be there when the
need arises." Women who have realised their
potential, women who are independent, women who are
self-employed and engaged in enterprises can become
its members. Patronised by Haripriya Rangarajan,
the Lady Governor of Andhra Pradesh, ALEAP has K
Rama Devi as its President.

dream is to see that women get the finest infrastructure

thirty acres of land for this project. This estate has
an allotment capacity for a hundred small-scale units.
It focuses on setting up units in fields like electronics,
food processing, garments, printing and packaging, computer
hardware & software, gem processing and small engineering
units.
The state government has also provided commercial place
at HUDA's Commercial Complex, Tarnaka, at a concessional
rate, to market the products of ALEAP's members and
