Nasa
has selected another Indian-American woman for a space
mission, even as Kalpana Chawla readies herself
for a second voyage.
Nasa has chosen Massachusetts based Sunita
Lyn Williams as a back-up crew for International
Space Station expedition-10.
Graduate of the US Naval academy, 37-year old Williams
has been a helicopter pilot, a test pilot and a test
pilot instructor. Williams with over 2300 hours
of flight experience, has been awarded two navy commendation
medals.
