A normal restaurant in Hyderabad reminds you
of closed rooms with dimly lit lights. But when you
step into Our Place, a plush restaurant located
in Banjara Hills, you will be completely bewildered
by its ambience. With sprawling lawns and greenery all
around, the garden like open air restaurant redefines
the concept of ambience.
Spread over an area of one and half acres, Our Place
is equipped with eight cottages, a hall, a restaurant
and an open air amphitheatre. Birthday parties, get-togethers,
kitty parties, weddings, conferences - all can be arranged
in the cool atmosphere of Our Place. "Our Place
is a full fledged restaurant. No restaurant in the twin
cities has so much space and facilities to celebrate
parties and get togethers as Our Place," said
Mr Subhash, the proprietor of Our Place.
 Opened
in 1999, the multi-cuisine restaurant is one of the
favourite places for gourmets. On the cards is a whole
range of exotic dishes from an impressive multi-cuisine
menu. One can relish selected dishes even as one appreciates
the aesthetics of art exhibits displayed in the backdrop.
"We serve hygienic, delectable food without
compromising on quality. The biryani served by us has
a rich taste and is liked by one and all," says
Mr Subhash. Our Place specializes in Mughlai, Southern,
Chinese and Tandoor cuisine. The food is prepared in
a spacious kitchen which is neatly maintained and accessible
to each and every customer. Besides serving excellent
food, the restaurant showcases the works of many contemporary
artists, antiques in artifacts and furniture.
 Apart
form delectable cuisine and serene ambience, Our Place
is also frequented by a number of celebrities. But the
restaurant has never banked on the celebrity status
of its customers. Says Subhash "we treat our
customers equally. We don';t classify them according
to their status. Our philosophy is to satisfy the customer
and give them the best,". Recently when the
erstwhile superstar Sridevi visited Our Place with her
hubby Boney Kapoor and brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor,
the entire media had highlighted it on its own but the
restaurant did not try to get any mileage out of it.
This shows the commitment of Our Place to its philosophy.
