Venkateshwara Motors, located at Kukatpally, are
among the most reputed dealers for TVS vehicles in the
state. Started in 1996 by Chandrakant Pathak,
Venkateshwara Motors, known for their excellent service,
are able to sell vehicles at a pace that no other dealer
in Andhra Pradesh can. On an average, they are able
to sell 150 vehicles per month and undertake the servicing
of around 25 vehicles per day.

Motors deal with all TVS vehicles including Suzuki
Samurai, TVS Fiero, TVS Victor, TVS Sport, TVS Champ,
TVS Excel Super, TVS Heavy Duty, TVS Scooty Standard
Model (kick version), TVS Scooty (electric start), TVS
Max 100 DC and TVS Max 100R. All these TVS vehicles
are quite popular and are known for giving good mileage
without any problems.

Victor is a 4-stroke 110 cc motorcycle developed by
the Company indigenously, without any help from its
partner, Suzuki. A unique feature of the Victor is the
`Dual Mode Digital Ignition', developed by them in-house
and in use in India for the first time. "Victor
is today one of the highest fuel-efficient bikes in
its category, giving 85 km per litre under standard
test conditions. The high fuel-efficiency makes the
bike a great choice for the customers who look for ‘value
for money’ in their purchases," says Mr Sharath,
the Manager of Venkateshwara Motors.
 TVS
Scooty is a leader in the market among the scooterette
segment. The Scooty is a viable and cost-effective alternative
to a scooter introduced by the leader in mopeds, TVS.
"It caters to the needs of everyone, from housewives
to office-goers and students. For starters, it provides
greater seat area and an engine capable of lugging loads,"
says Mr Sharath, a graduate in automobile engineering.
Venkateshwara Motors provide easy finance to buy the
vehicles from reputed banks like ICICI and HSBC. They
have a vast service network with service centres in
Medchal, Tandur, Vikarabad, Zaheerabad, Pagiri, Patan
Cheru, Chandanagar and Jeedimetla. They organize free
service melas, exchange melas and carry out institutional
demonstration in reputed companies from time to time.
Venkateshwara Motors also has an exclusive tie up with
HDFC Bank where it displays the TVS vehicles at each
branch of the HDFC for 15 days. "During these occasions,
we display all the TVS vehicles and tell people about
the benefits of having a TVS vehicle," said Mr Sharath
And where does Venkateshwara Motors stand in today's
cut throat competition? "According to the recent
study conducted by the JD Institute of Mass Communication,
Venkateshwara Motors stands at 18th position in the
country. This indicates our position in the market and
speaks volumes about our commitment to the people,"
says Mr Sharath. What kind of service
is provided by Venkateshwara Motors to the customers?
"We give utmost importance to customer service. We
provide a warranty of one and half years to motor cycles
and one year warranty for scooties and mopeds. Moreover,
all spare parts for the vehicles are available in the
showroom itself at nominal rates. Apart from this, TVS
has a 'service on call facility' where we reach the
customer immediately after receiving a call", says
Mr Sharath.
Any expansion plans? "Yes we have a lot of plans
in mind. First of all, we would like to move from Kukatpally
to a much bigger place in the city. We are also planning
to upgrade our branch in Tandur," says Mr Sharath
throwing some light on future plans.
